3-Day Adventure Itinerary for Jagarnath Puri in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Jagarnath Temple
    5 minutes (0.5 miles) from Puri Beach

    Start your day by visiting the famous Jagarnath Temple which is considered one of the char dhams for Hindus. The ancient temple was built in the 12th century and has an interesting history. Spend your morning exploring the temple and its surroundings. In the afternoon, head to the Puri Beach, which is just a 5-minute walk away, to enjoy some adventure activities like surfing, paragliding and Jet Skiing. End your day with a stroll on the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

  2. Day 2: Chilika Lake
    1 hour 30 minutes (40 miles) from Puri Beach

    Start your day early and head to Chilika Lake, which is the largest saltwater lake in Asia. Take a boat ride to see the famous Irrawaddy dolphins and enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake. Go for a hike on the nearby hills and enjoy the stunning view of the lake. In the evening, head back to Puri and visit the Raghurajpur Artist Village, which is famous for its Pattachitra art form. Interact with the local artists and learn about their unique art form.

  3. Day 3: Konark Sun Temple
    30 minutes (20 miles) from Puri Beach
