Recommendations

You should also visit the Athirapally Falls and the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary if you have extra time. A side trip to the beautiful hill station of Vagamon is highly recommended. To maximize your fun, try the local cuisine at every place you visit. I recommend trying the traditional Kerala breakfast of appam and stew.

If you plan to visit during the monsoon period, carry an umbrella and rain gear. Traffic can be heavy, so plan your itinerary accordingly. Lastly, always check the opening and closing times of the attractions to avoid any disappointments.
