4-Day Nature Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary and Mollem National Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (32.3 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, head to Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to various species of flora and fauna, including Bengal tigers, Indian bison and a variety of birdlife. Take a guided trekking tour through the dense forest and enjoy the scenic beauty of the park. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Mollem National Park where you can take a dip in the beautiful Dudhsagar Waterfalls.   3. Day 3: Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary and Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple
    1 hour (25.3 miles) from Chorao Island

    Start the day with a visit to Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a variety of animal species like sambar deer, leopards and Indian bison. Enjoy a guided tour through the park and visit the botanical gardens to see an array of plants and trees. In the afternoon, head to Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple, which is located in the midst of the forest and is one of the oldest temples in Goa. The temple is known for its intricate carvings and unique architecture. In the evening, enjoy a dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.

  4. Day 4: Butterfly Conservatory and Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 50 minutes (47.2 miles) from Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple

    Start the day with a visit to the Butterfly Conservatory, which is home to over 100 species of butterflies. Take a guided tour through the conservatory and learn about the different stages of a butterfly's life cycle. In the afternoon, head to Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, which is known for its dense forests and wildlife. Take a guided trekking tour through the park and enjoy the scenic beauty of the sanctuary. In the evening, head back to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
