3-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Aguada Fort
    30 minutes (10.8 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the historic Aguada Fort which offers a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea. This 17th-century fort was built by the Portuguese to defend against the Dutch and Marathas. In the afternoon, relax at Sinquerim Beach which is a popular spot for water sports such as jet skiing and parasailing. In the evening, head to LPK Waterfront, a nightclub on the banks of the Nerul River for some drinks and dancing.

  2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    30 minutes (12.4 km) from Sinquerim Beach

    Morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in Goa. It houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier, a patron saint of Goa. Then head to the nearby Spice Plantations, where you can witness the cultivation of spices like cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon. In the evening, take a sunset boat ride on the Mandovi River and enjoy Goan folk dance and music performances.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours (62.3 km) from Mandovi River

    Head to the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls in the morning, which is located on the Goa-Karnataka border. The best time to visit is during the monsoon season when the waterfall is in its full glory. Afternoon, visit the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and Mollem National Park which is home to a variety of flora and fauna including tigers and leopards. In the evening, return back and enjoy a night cruise along the Mandovi River.

Some other local attractions you can consider are the Chapora Fort, Anjuna Beach, and the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. You can also take a side trip to the nearby state of Karnataka and visit the famous Hampi ruins. To maximize your fun, try some of the local cuisine like fish curry rice and feni.
