30 minutes (8.6 km) from Dharamshala

In the morning, head towards McLeod Ganj, a suburb of Dharamshala, to start your trek to Triund Hill. The trek is around 7 km long and offers stunning views of the Dhauladhar mountains and Kangra Valley. You can stop for lunch at one of the small cafes along the way. The trek takes around 4-6 hours and is moderately challenging. Once you reach the top, you can set up camp or stay in one of the forest guesthouses. Spend the evening enjoying the panoramic views of the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Paragliding in Bir-Billing
2 hours and 20 minutes (70 km) from Triund Hill

Start your day early and head towards Bir-Billing, one of the best paragliding destinations in Asia. After a safety briefing, take off from Billing and soar through the sky with an experienced pilot. The paragliding experience lasts for around 20-30 minutes and offers breathtaking views of the mountains and forests. Once you land, you can explore the quaint town of Bir and visit the Chokling Monastery. If time permits, head to the nearby Deer Park Institute for a spiritual retreat.
