Two-Day Itinerary for Vizag in August 2023

  1. Day 1: R.K. Beach
    10 minutes (3.6 km) from Visakhapatnam Railway Station

    In the morning, stroll along the beach and enjoy the sunrise. Take a dip in the sea or try some beach activities like volleyball or parasailing. In the afternoon, visit the Submarine Museum located nearby. The museum showcases the history of INS Kurusura. In the evening, walk along the beach and enjoy some street food while watching the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Kailasagiri
    20 minutes (7.1 km) from R.K. Beach

    In the morning, head to Kailasagiri, a hilltop park that offers breathtaking views of the city. You can take a cable car to the hilltop or drive up. Spend some time exploring the park and taking in the views. In the afternoon, visit the Borra Caves, located 1.5 hours away from Kailasagiri. The caves are famous for their stalactites and stalagmites formations. In the evening, head back to the city and visit the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, which is located nearby.
