Exploring the best of Chikmagalur in 4 days

  1. Day 1: Mullayanagiri Trek
    19 km (35 minutes) from Chikmagalur City Center

    Start your morning early with a challenging trek to Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest peak in Karnataka. The trek starts at Sarpadhari and takes around 3 hours to complete. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Western Ghats and the sunrise from the top. Afternoon, visit the nearby Seethalayyanagiri Temple and coffee plantations. In the evening, relax at the Baba Budangiri Hills and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

  2. Day 2: Kudremukh National Park
    97 km (2 hours 30 minutes) from Mullayanagiri

    Explore the beautiful Kudremukh National Park, known for its dense forests, waterfalls and wildlife. Visit the Hanuman Gundi Waterfall and trek to the Kudremukh Peak. In the afternoon, visit the Coffee Museum and learn about the history of coffee in India. In the evening, stroll through the local markets and indulge in some shopping.

  3. Day 3: Hebbe Falls and Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary

  4. Day 4: Baba Budangiri and Kemmangundi

    Start your day with a visit to the Baba Budangiri shrine, known for its shrine of Lord Dattatreya. Enjoy the scenic drive to Kemmangundi and visit the beautiful gardens and waterfalls. Trek to the Z Point and enjoy the view of the beautiful valley. Afternoon, visit the Raj Bhavan and enjoy the sunset from the Raj Bhavan viewpoint. In the evening, head back to Chikmagalur city.
