6-Day Goa Itinerary in September 2023

  1. Day 1: North Goa Beaches
    31 minutes (11.5 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, head to Calangute Beach, the largest and most popular beach in North Goa. Relax on the sandy shores and take a dip in the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, visit Aguada Fort, a 17th-century Portuguese fort with stunning views. In the evening, go to Baga Beach, famous for its nightlife and shacks serving delicious seafood.

  2. Day 2: Old Goa Churches
    26 minutes (6.1 miles) from Baga Beach

    Start the day at the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the remains of St. Francis Xavier. Then, visit the Se Cathedral, the largest church in Asia. In the afternoon, explore the Museum of Christian Art and the Church of St. Francis of Assisi. End the day with a sunset cruise on the Mandovi River.

  3. Day 3: Spice Plantations

  5. Day 5: Fontainhas and Panaji

  6. Day 6: Anjuna Market and Chapora Fort

    In the morning, explore the Anjuna Flea Market and shop for souvenirs, clothes and jewellery. In the afternoon, visit the Chapora Fort, known for its appearance in the Bollywood movie "Dil Chahta Hai". End the day with a seafood dinner at one of the beach shacks in Vagator.
