If you have extra time, consider taking a day trip to the secluded and stunning Butterfly Beach or visiting the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. The Fontainhas neighborhood in Panaji is also worth exploring for its colorful Portuguese-style houses and quaint cafes. To get the most out of your trip, consider renting a scooter or hiring a local guide to show you around. Don't forget to try the local delicacies such as fish curry and bebinca, a traditional Goan dessert.
