In the morning, head to the famous Baga Beach. Rent a sunbed and umbrella and spend the morning sunbathing, swimming or taking part in water sports. For the afternoon, visit Anjuna Beach to explore the flea market and try some local street food. Head to Calangute Beach in the evening to watch the sunset while sipping on a cold beer at one of the beach shacks.
Start your day at the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the oldest churches in India. Explore the Museum of Christian Art, which is located next to the church. In the afternoon, visit the Shri Mangueshi Temple and the Shri Mahalasa Temple in Ponda. In the evening, head to Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter of Panaji, to admire the colourful Portuguese-style houses and enjoy a traditional Goan dinner.
In the morning, visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, located on the western tip of Chorao Island. Take a guided tour or rent a kayak to explore the mangrove forests and spot some of the 400 bird species that call this sanctuary home. For the afternoon, visit the Dudhsagar Falls, a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River. Take a dip in the natural pool, which is safe for swimming. In the evening, head back to Panaji to enjoy a sunset river cruise on the Mandovi River.
If you have extra time, visit the Fort Aguada, a well-preserved 17th-century Portuguese fort. Also, consider taking a day trip to the nearby spice plantations, such as the Sahakari Spice Farm or the Pascoal Spice Village. For nightlife, head to Tito's Lane in Baga, which is lined with bars and nightclubs. Remember to bargain when shopping at the flea markets.
