Kedarnath: 7 Day Itinerary and Travel Costs

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath Temple

  3. Day 3: Triyuginarayan Temple
    1 hour 15 minutes (28 km) from Vasuki Tal

    Visit the ancient Triyuginarayan Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is said to be the place where Lord Shiva and Parvati got married. Enjoy the scenic drive back to Kedarnath and spend the evening at leisure.

  4. Day 4: Chorabari Tal Trek
    1 hour (3.6 km) from Kedarnath Helipad

    Take a day off from the long treks and go on a shorter hike to the beautiful Chorabari Tal. The lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and is a great spot for a picnic. Return to Kedarnath in the evening and try the local cuisine.

  5. Day 5: Sonprayag
    1 hour 20 minutes (19 km) from Kedarnath Helipad

    Drive to Sonprayag and take a dip in the holy waters of the confluence of Basuki and Mandakini rivers. Visit the nearby Gaurikund Temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Parvati. Spend the evening relaxing in one of the local cafes.

  6. Day 6: Badrinath Temple
    5 hours (155 km) from Kedarnath Helipad

    Take a day trip to the Badrinath Temple, which is one of the four sacred shrines in the Char Dham pilgrimage. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located near the Alaknanda River. Return to Kedarnath in the evening.

  7. Day 7: Kedarnath Helipad
    15 minutes (6 km) from Kedarnath Temple

    Depart from Kedarnath Helipad and head back home, carrying with you memories of a lifetime.
