5-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    1 hour (13.5 miles) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit the 17th century Fort Aguada, built by the Portuguese to defend against the Dutch and Marathas. Take in the panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and Mandovi River from the fort. In the afternoon, stop by the nearby Aguada Lighthouse and explore the beach.   2. Day 2: Anjuna Beach
    45 minutes (12 miles) from Fort Aguada

    In the morning, head to Anjuna Beach, known for its hippie culture and weekly flea market. Spend the morning browsing the market and trying local street food. In the afternoon, soak up some sun on the beach and try your hand at water sports. In the evening, catch the sunset at Chapora Fort and have dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.

  4. Day 4: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours (46 miles) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    In the morning, take a scenic drive to Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. You can hike to the falls, swim in the natural pools, or take a train ride through the forest. In the afternoon, visit the nearby spice plantations for a guided tour and tasting. In the evening, return to Goa and enjoy a seafood dinner at a beach restaurant.

  5. Day 5: Palolem Beach
    2 hours (45 miles) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    In the morning, visit Palolem Beach, one of the most picturesque beaches in Goa. Relax on the white sandy beach, take a boat ride to the nearby islands, or go dolphin spotting. In the afternoon, explore the nearby Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary and trek through the forest. In the evening, head back to Goa for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
