Recommendations

If you have some extra time, you can consider taking a side trip to Murudeshwar, which is home to the second-tallest statue of Lord Shiva and has a beautiful beach. You can also try some local street food like chaat and samosas. Make sure to bargain at the shops in Gokarna for some great deals. To maximize your fun, try to take part in the local festivals and events, which happen throughout the year. Lastly, make sure to bring sunscreen and insect repellent, as you will be spending a lot of time outdoors.
