4-Day Adventure Itinerary for Amritsar and Shimla in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Amritsar
    10 minutes (2.4 km) from Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport

  2. Day 2: Amritsar to Shimla

  3. Day 3: Shimla

    Start your day with a visit to the Ridge, a large open space in the heart of Shimla. From here, take a 40-minute trek to the top of the Jakhoo Hill, the highest point in Shimla, for a panoramic view of the city. In the afternoon, visit the Viceregal Lodge, a colonial-era building that was once the summer residence of the British Viceroy of India. End your day with a visit to the Annandale, a beautiful meadow surrounded by deodar trees.

  4. Day 4: Shimla
    35 minutes (13.4 km) from Kufri

    In the morning, drive to Kufri, a small hill station known for its scenic beauty and adventure activities such as skiing and trekking. Spend the day exploring Kufri and its surroundings. In the evening, head back to Shimla and visit the Christ Church, a beautiful neo-gothic style church that is one of the most prominent landmarks of Shimla.
