Two-Day Nature Itinerary for Kollukumalai in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Kollukumalai Tea Estate
    30 minutes (12 miles) from Munnar

    1 hour (15 miles) from Munnar

    Start your day early with a 4x4 jeep ride to the Kolukkumalai viewpoint to catch the sunrise. The bumpy ride takes you through the tea plantations and offers glimpses of wildlife along the way. Marvel at the stunning views of the sunrise over the Western Ghats and the misty valleys below. After the sunrise, visit the ancient Jain temple at the base of the hill and learn about its history and significance.
