4-Day Bangalore Hampi Bangalore Itinerary for Motorcycle Riding in February 2024

  1. Day 1: Bangalore to Hampi
    350 Km (7 hours) from Bangalore

    In the morning, start your journey towards Hampi. The roads are well maintained and offer scenic views of the countryside. Stop for lunch at Kamat Restaurant in Chitradurga. Continue your ride and reach Hampi by evening. Visit the famous Virupaksha temple and watch the sunset from the Hemakuta Hill. Have dinner at Mango Tree Restaurant and head back to your hotel.

  2. Day 2: Hampi
    Located within Hampi

    Start your day with a visit to the Vittala Temple Complex. Marvel at the impressive stone chariot and musical pillars. Head to the nearby King's Balance, a historic weighing scale used by kings to donate their weight in gold to temples. Have lunch at Laughing Buddha Cafe and then visit the Lotus Mahal and the Elephant Stable. End your day at the Tungabhadra River and watch the sunset. Have dinner at Gouthami Restaurant and head back to your hotel.

  3. Day 3: Hampi to Hospet
    13 Km (30 minutes) from Hampi

    Start your day with a visit to the Anjaneya Hill and Hanuman Temple. Enjoy a panoramic view of Hampi from the top of the hill. Head back to Hampi and check out from your hotel. Ride to Hospet and have lunch at Swathi Delicacy. Visit the Tungabhadra Dam and the nearby Japanese Garden. Check-in to your hotel and end your day with dinner at Shanbhag Towers.

  4. Day 4: Hospet to Bangalore
    340 Km (6 hours) from Hospet to Bangalore

    After breakfast, start your ride back to Bangalore. Stop for lunch at Royal Orchid Central in Chitradurga. Continue your ride and reach Bangalore by evening. End your trip with a visit to the Bangalore Palace and have dinner at the iconic MTR Restaurant.

Recommendations

Make sure to carry sunscreen and enough water during the day. Consider visiting the Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary, located 20 Km from Hampi, to see sloth bears in their natural habitat. You can also take a coracle ride on the Tungabhadra River. If you have extra time, consider visiting the nearby Badami caves or the Aihole and Pattadakal temples. To maximize your fun, join a guided motorcycle tour or rent a dirt bike to explore Hampi's rugged terrain.
