The best way to get around Canggu is by renting a motorbike, which costs around IDR 50,000 - 80,000 per day. Taxis and ride-hailing services are also readily available, but make sure to negotiate the fare before hopping in. Expect heavy traffic during peak hours, so it’s best to plan your itinerary accordingly.
If you have some extra time, head to the Batu Bolong Beach, which is just a 10-minute drive from Berawa Beach. This charming beach is perfect for a relaxing day out, away from the crowds. If you have less time, consider skipping Tanah Lot Temple, as it can get very crowded during the day.
The nearest airport to Canggu is Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), located 35 km south of the city. It takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour to get to Canggu by car.
