  1. Day 1: Exploring the City

  2. Day 2: Chasing Waterfalls
    1 hour (25 km) from Police Bazaar

    Begin the day with a visit to the Elephant Falls, just a short trek from the parking lot. Stop by the Shillong Peak for breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding hills. Have lunch at Cafe Shillong Heritage, an old-world cafe in Laitumkhrah. Spend the afternoon at the Air Force Museum and the Don Bosco Museum. End the day with a visit to the breathtaking Umiam Lake, where you can go boating or just relax by the water.

  3. Day 3: Trekking and Caving
    1.5 hours (50 km) from Umiam Lake

    The day begins with a visit to the Mawphlang Sacred Grove, a dense forest with ancient trees and exotic flora. After lunch at Jiva Restaurant, head to the Krem Mawmluh cave, a limestone cave with stunning stalactites and stalagmites. End the day with a trek to the David Scott Trail, a scenic route through the hills used by the British in the 19th century.

  4. Day 4: Living Root Bridges and Villages

    Start the day with a visit to the living root bridges of Cherrapunji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch at the Orange Roots, a restaurant serving local cuisine, explore the Mawlynnong Village, known for its cleanliness and natural beauty. Wrap up the day with a visit to the Dawki River, where you can go boating or take a dip in the crystal clear waters.
