Budapest is well-connected with buses, trams and the metro allowing easy access to most tourist spots. A 72-hour travel pass is available for around 4,000 Ft or you can get a Budapest Card, which includes free public transport and discounts to many attractions in the city.
If you have more time, consider exploring Fisherman’s Bastion, Margaret Island, or the Hungarian Parliament Building. For those with less time, prioritize the Buda Castle and Szimpla Kert, they are two of the city's must-see landmarks.
Budapest has only one airport - the Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD). It is located just 16 km southeast of the city center making it easily accessible by public transport, taxi or shuttle service.
