3-Day Itinerary for Kaas Plateau, Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kaas Plateau
    1 hour 40 minutes (35.7 miles) from Mahabaleshwar

    In the morning, explore the beautiful Kaas Plateau, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning array of wildflowers. Take a guided tour to learn about the unique ecosystem and the rare flowers that bloom here. In the afternoon, visit the Thoseghar Waterfalls, located about 20 minutes from the plateau. Take a refreshing dip in the cool waters and enjoy the scenic views. For the evening, head to Mahabaleshwar and take a leisurely walk along the Venna Lake, where you can enjoy boating, horse riding and other activities.

  2. Day 2: Mahabaleshwar

    Start your day with a visit to the Mahabaleshwar Temple, a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.     In the morning, visit Table Land, Asia's second-longest mountain plateau, and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Take a horse ride or try paragliding for a thrilling experience. In the afternoon, visit the Parsi Point, a popular viewpoint that offers stunning views of the Dhom Dam and Krishna Valley. For the evening, head to the Sherbaug Theme Park, a beautiful garden that features a small zoo, a mini train ride, and a children's play area.
