Goa Family-Friendly Itinerary - July 2023

  1. Day 1: Calangute Beach
    15 minutes (5.7 km) from Panaji
    Morning: Start your day at Calangute Beach, one of the most popular and family-friendly beaches in Goa. Enjoy a swim in the clear blue waters or relax on the sandy beach.
    Afternoon: Visit the nearby Tibetan Market for some unique souvenirs and handicrafts. Grab a bite to eat at one of the many beachside shacks offering fresh seafood and local delicacies.
    Evening: End your day with a sunset dolphin-spotting cruise along the coast of Calangute Beach. Watch dolphins jumping out of the water and enjoy the beautiful views of the Goan coastline.
  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours (75 km) from Calangute Beach
    Morning: Head to Dudhsagar Falls, one of the most picturesque waterfalls in India. Take a dip in the cool waters of the falls or go on a short trek to the bottom of the falls.
    Afternoon: Visit the Spice Plantation nearby and take a tour to learn about the different spices and herbs grown in Goa. Enjoy a traditional Goan meal made with freshly grown spices and herbs.
    Evening: End your day with a visit to the nearby Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple, one of the oldest temples in Goa. The temple is located amidst a lush forest and is a great place for a scenic walk.
  3. Day 3: Fort Aguada
    30 minutes (14 km) from Calangute Beach
    Morning: Start your day at Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort located on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Explore the fort and learn about its fascinating history.
    Afternoon: Head to the nearby Candolim Beach for some sun, sand and surf. Enjoy a variety of water sports, including parasailing and jet skiing.
    Evening: End your day with a visit to the nearby Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, a haven for birdwatchers. Take a boat ride through the mangroves and spot a variety of birds and other wildlife.
