If you have more time, you must visit the Bade Ganesh Ji Ka Mandir, Mangalnath Temple, and Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain. Another great side trip would be to the ancient city of Mandu, which is located about 2 hours drive from Ujjain. To maximize your fun, try some of the local street food, such as poha jalebi, kachori, and samosas. You can also shop for traditional handloom sarees, jewelry, and handicrafts in the local markets.
