Begin the 6 km trek to Gaurikund, the gateway to Kedarnath. It takes around 2-3 hours and provides beautiful mountain views, best done early if possible.

Visit the hot water spring Tapt Kund near Badrinath Temple, believed to have healing properties, and explore the nearby Mana Village, the last Indian village before the Tibet border.
