Three-Day Relaxation Itinerary in Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Palolem Beach
1 hour 20 minutes (36.4 miles) from Goa International Airport

Start your day with a rejuvenating yoga session on the shore of one of Goa's most beautiful beaches. After breakfast at one of the many beachside shacks, rent a kayak and explore the tranquil waters. Relax with a good book, or indulge in an Ayurvedic massage. In the evening, watch the sunset while enjoying a seafood dinner.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
2 hours 5 minutes (46.3 miles) from Palolem Beach

Get an early start and take a dip at Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery and offer a refreshing break from the heat. After the waterfall, take a guided tour to the spice plantations nearby, where you can learn about the spices that flavor Indian cuisine. In the evening, head back to Palolem Beach for dinner and drinks.

  3. Day 3: Fort Aguada
1 hour 10 minutes (23.5 miles) from Palolem Beach

Spend your final day exploring the old-world charm of Fort Aguada. Built by the Portuguese in the 17th century, the fort offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Relax at the fort's lighthouse, or take a stroll along the ramparts. After the fort, head to Baga Beach for lunch and a swim. End your relaxing Goan escape with a sunset cruise along the Mandovi River.

Recommendations

Other attractions worth considering are the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, and the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. For a side trip, take a ferry to the nearby Butterfly Island for a day of snorkeling and swimming. To maximize your fun, try some of the local Goan cuisine like vindaloo or fish curry, and wash it down with a refreshing glass of feni. Don't forget to enjoy the nightlife in places like Tito's Lane and Curlies Beach Shack. Lastly, be sure to pack sunscreen, insect repellent, and comfortable footwear.
