Four-Day Itinerary from Delhi to Kashmir in July 2024

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
    20 minutes (9.1 km) from Srinagar International Airport

    In the morning, visit the beautiful Mughal Gardens, including Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi.   2. Day 2: Gulmarg

You can also try horse riding, golfing, or trekking in the area. In the evening, return to Srinagar and stroll around the local markets for souvenirs and handicrafts.

  3. Day 3: Pahalgam

    Drive to Pahalgam, a picturesque valley known for its natural beauty and Bollywood film shoots. Visit the stunning Betaab Valley, named after the famous movie shot here, and enjoy a picnic by the Lidder River. Explore the nearby Aru or Chandanwari, starting points for the famous Amarnath Yatra. In the evening, return to Srinagar for dinner and rest.

  4. Day 4: Sonamarg
    2 hours 30 minutes (81.7 km) from Srinagar

    Drive to Sonamarg, a scenic town on the way to the Zojila Pass and Ladakh. Take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier, a popular spot for snow and ice activities in the summer. You can also go trout fishing in the nearby streams or visit the nearby Baltal base camp for the Amarnath Yatra. In the evening, drive back to Srinagar and prepare for your departure.
