In Thailand, for your convenience, we suggest using domestic flights and ferries to travel to different destinations. All destinations on this itinerary have airports or seaports with regular flights or ferries. Travel costs will vary depending on the destination and day of travel.
If you have more time, you can consider visiting other destinations such as Ayutthaya, Koh Lanta or Koh Samui. You can also enjoy cultural activities such as attending a Thai cooking class or participating in traditional Thai dance. If you have less time, consider skipping Phuket and heading straight to Krabi to save time.
Thailand has several international airports, but for this itinerary, we suggest noting two. Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is Bangkok's sprawling international airport, located 30 km (19 miles) east of the city center. Phuket International Airport (HKT), located about 32 km (20 miles) from the city center, is the second busiest airport in Thailand, with flights to many domestic and international destinations.
