Ballarayana Durga, also known as Majina Kallu, is a hilltop fortress situated in the Western Ghats. Start your day with a trek to the fort, which takes around 2.5 hours. The trek is moderately difficult, with steep inclines and rocky terrain. You'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. After descending the fort, head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some authentic coastal cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Bandajje Falls, a hidden gem of the Western Ghats. It's a 2 km trek through dense forests to reach the falls. Take a dip in the cool waters of the falls and relax amid the natural beauty. In the evening, head back to your hotel for dinner and some rest.

Start your day early and drive to Ranijhari View Point to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the Western Ghats. After the sunrise, head to a local restaurant for breakfast. Next, drive to Netravathi Peak, the highest peak in the Western Ghats. The peak is accessible by a 7 km trek from the base of the hill. The trek is challenging, with steep inclines and uneven terrain. However, the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys make it all worth it.
