2-Day Cultural Immersion Itinerary in Ujjain in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Mahakaleshwar Temple

In the afternoon, visit the Ram Ghat for a peaceful boat ride along the Shipra River. In the evening, head to the Kaliadeh Palace, located on an island in the middle of the river, to watch the sunset and enjoy the serene surroundings.

  2. Day 2: Kal Bhairava Temple and Vedh Shala Observatory

    In the morning, visit the Kal Bhairava Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Bhairava, one of the fiercest forms of Lord Shiva. The observatory houses several instruments used to calculate the positions and movements of celestial objects. The observatory also offers a stunning view of Ujjain. In the evening, explore the local markets and try some of the local delicacies like Poha and Jalebi.
