Recommendations

Don't miss the chance to try some of Goa's famous seafood, especially the prawn curry and fish thali. If you have time, take a day trip to the nearby state of Karnataka to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hampi. You can also try some adventure sports like kayaking or trekking in the Western Ghats. To maximize your fun, plan your itinerary around the monsoon season (June-September), when the lush green landscape is at its most beautiful and the waterfalls are at their fullest.
