3-Day Nature Itinerary in Tirupati in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Talakona Waterfalls
    1 hour 30 minutes (38.7 km) from Tirupati

    In the morning, take a drive to Talakona Waterfalls, the highest in Andhra Pradesh. At the falls, enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pool or go on a short trek through the lush forest. For lunch, stop by the nearby restaurant and try out Andhra-style biryani and spicy chicken curry. In the afternoon, visit the Siddeswara Swamy Temple, a beautiful ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. End the day by visiting the Deer Park and watch the deers and other wildlife in their natural habitat.

  2. Day 2: Horsley Hills
    2 hours 30 minutes (144 km) from Talakona Waterfalls

    Leave early in the morning to Horsley Hills, a beautiful hill station surrounded by dense forests and scenic hills. Enjoy a morning walk in the beautiful Koundinya Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can spot rare species like Indian Elephant and Sambar Deer. Later, visit the Kalyani Tree Top Resort and enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful hills while sipping on a cup of coffee.   3. Day 3: Sri Venkateswara National Park
    1 hour 15 minutes (35.4 km) from Horsley Hills

    In the morning, drive to the Sri Venkateswara National Park, which is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including the endangered Indian Giant Squirrel. Take a guided safari tour of the park and spot animals like Bengal Tiger, Indian Leopard and Sloth Bear. In the afternoon, visit the Talakona Forest Reserve and enjoy a nature walk amidst the beautiful waterfalls, streams and dense forests. End the day with a visit to the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in India.
