If you have an extra day, you can visit the Kedarnath Temple, a famous Hindu shrine (47 km from Chopta). For adventure enthusiasts, camping and trekking are popular activities in Chopta. You can also visit the nearby town of Gopeshwar or enjoy a picnic at the Rohini Bugyal meadow. Don't forget to sample the local cuisine, especially the Garhwali dishes like Kachmauli and Bal Mithai.

Maximize your fun by carrying comfortable shoes, warm clothes, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Avoid visiting during the monsoon season as landslides are common. Also, make sure to check the opening and closing times of the attractions before finalizing your itinerary.
