Travelers planned trips to Goa and Kerala alongside routes through Japan, the American Southwest and Europe, often specifying transport, budgets and activities rather than just destinations.
Goa appeared in plans for both October getaways and a New Year’s beach celebration. Several travelers divided their time between South and North Goa, with one five-day plan starting near Colva. On the Kerala coast, Varkala plans called for beach time, cafés, kayaking and excursions to Jatayu Earth’s Center and Munroe Island; another traveler wanted a relaxing beach resort day during a family road trip.
Japan-bound travelers mapped out different kinds of journeys: Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto from Delhi; six days in Kyoto from Bangkok; and a scenic route from Hokkaido toward Sendai focused on photography, shopping and food.
