What to Pack for Travelling from Berkeley, New South Wales, Australia to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and back via Wollongong, Campbelltown, Goulburn and Albury - leaving 15 September 2025, arriving back home 19 September 2025 Local buses from Berkeley to Wollongong and from Wollongong to Campbelltown late morning of 15/09 Shopping at Macarthur Square for train snacks Local train from Campbelltown to Goulburn afternoon of 15/09 Quick Woolies run in Goulburn Overnight regional train from Goulburn to Albury (Sydney>Melbourne XPT) 15-16/09 - departs Goulburn 11:14pm 15/09, arrives Albury 4:08am 16/09 Regional train from Albury to Melbourne (Southern Cross station) morning of 16/09 (6:45am service - arrives Southern Cross 10:30am) Three days/two nights in Melbourne (16-18/09) - attending a protest at the NESA conference on second day in Melbourne (17/09) Regional train from Melbourne (Southern Cross station) to Albury afternoon of 18/09 (12:04pm service - arrives Albury 3:41pm) Shopping and dinner in Albury between trains Overnight regional train (Melbourne>Sydney XPT) from Albury to Campbelltown 18-19/09 - departs Albury 11:07pm 18/09, arrives Campbelltown 6:07am 19/09 Local bus from Campbelltown to Wollongong and another bus from Wollongong to Berkeley morning of 19/09 I am female, 41 years old, travelling solo I have booked all of my train tickets: Goulburn to Albury, Albury to Melbourne return, and Albury to Campbelltown (accessible seat in train's quiet carriage for Goulburn to Albury and Albury to Campbelltown - have requested assistance with getting on and off the XPT) Hotel room is also booked (accessible room) I will be travelling carry-on only (a backpack) I will be taking some electronics - my phone, my laptop, my iPad, and my smartwatch I am disabled (autism/ADHD) and chronically ill (migraines), and take daily medication (antidepressants x1, migraine preventives [beta blockers] x3, antihistamines x1, multivitamins x1, plus sumatriptan if/when needed); I also use a cane or crutches for mobility (and will be taking both with me - my travel crutches can be disassembled and will fit into my backpack) It will be early spring during my trip - likely to be fairly chilly - Packing Checklist
