Get a full day-by-day itinerary for Europe in December. Day 01 : 17 December 2026 - JOHANNESBURG TO AMSTERDAM Check in with your C the World rep at OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg at 17:00. We fly to Amsterdam to start our European adventure on Qatar airways! (Dinner on board flight) Day 02 : 18 December 2026 - AMSTERDAM We arrive in Amsterdam, collect our luggage and continue to the hotel to refresh. Later in the afternoon your guide will take you to central Amsterdam for a free evening. (Breakfast) Day 03 : 19 December 2026 - AMSTERDAM The Dutch countryside awaits as we visit Zaanse Schans windmill village and the beautiful harbor village of Volendam. We then see how the traditional Clogs (wooden shoes or klompe) are made and we taste famous Edam cheese. Around lunch time we enter Amsterdam. The afternoon / evening is yours to explore Amsterdam, the coffee shops and to paint the town red. C the World recommends a canal cruise, the Heineken Brewery, Anne Frank House or Leidse Plein’s unlimited ribs. (Breakfast) Day 04 : 20 December 2026 - AMSTERDAM TO BOPPARD We depart the Netherlands and enter Germany to visit the beautiful Rhine Valley. Early afternoon we board our Rhine valley cruise and enjoy a cruise through one of the most concentrated stretches of castles in the entire Europe. After the cruise we enjoy a wine tasting in Boppard, tasting some of the local wines. (Breakfast, Dinner) Day 05 : 21 December 2026 - BOPPARD TO MUNICH We continue south to Bavaria and spend the night in Munich! Your guide will escort you to central Munich for some free time before dinner to explore the World famous German Christmas markets! Tonight, Dinner is included in a local beer hall selling the famous 1 liter Steins. (Breakfast, Dinner) Day 06 : 22 December 2026 - MUNICH TO VENICE Italy awaits! A scenic drive through Austria takes us to the Italian border. After checking into the hotel, your guide will escort you to Venice for free time to explore. (Breakfast) Day 07 : 23 December 2026 - VENICE A free day in Venice. C the world recommends the glass blowing island of Murano, the lace shops on Burano or head to Lido’s beach. Perhaps a Gondola ride? (Breakfast) Day 08 : 24 April 2026 - VENICE TO INNSBRUCK Next stop on our European adventure is Innsbruck in the Austrian Alps. The city is surrounded by snow capped mountains, and famous for the Golden roof, as well as the Swarovski Crystals. Explore the city and get a good nights rest, because tomorrow is Christmas in the Austrian Alps. (Breakfast, Dinner) Day 09 : 25 December 2026 - INNSBRUCK Christmas Day! Merry Christmas. A free day to explore the city and surrounding mountains. We recommend to make your way up the mountains, into the snow and enjoy a White Christmas lunch with amazing views. (Breakfast) Day 10 : 26 December 2026 - INNSBRUCK TO LUCERNE TO JUNGFRAU A spectacular drive through Austria and Switzerland, passing through small skiing villages and breathtaking mountain ranges. We stop at Lucerne for some free time, before making our way to the Jungfrau valley. One of the most beautiful areas in Switzerland. (Breakfast) Day 11 : 27 December 2026 - JUNGFRAU (Switzerland) A free day in Switzerland for you to explore! Your guide will give some recommendations on things to do and see. (Breakfast) Day 12 : 28 December 2026 - JUNGFRAU (Switzerland) Another full free day in Switzerland. Walk through the most beautiful villages, or perhaps test your skills at the worlds longest toboggan run at 15 km from the Faulhorn to Grindelwald. (Breakfast) Day 13 : 29 December 2026 - JUNGFRAU TO PARIS Bonjour Paris! We depart to Paris and spend the day driving through the French countryside. Early evening we take you on a guided tour of the Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre and Moulin Rouge. (Breakfast) Day 14 : 30 December 2026 - PARIS After breakfast we explore all the main sights of Paris on foot. Your tour leader will show you the Opera house, Tuileries Garden, the Louvre Museum, Pont Neuf and the Notre Dame. After free time and lunch in the Latin quarter we continue to the most famous landmark in Paris, the Eiffel Tower. The afternoon is yours to explore Paris at your own pace. (Breakfast) Day 15 : 31 December 2026 - PARIS New Years eve in Paris! After a full free day in Paris (Why not visit Disneyland), ensure you are ready to party with the locals in Paris. Happy New Year! (Breakfast) Day 16 : 1 January 2027 2026 - PARIS TO JOHANNESBURG After a free morning in Paris. We make our we make our way to the airport around 11:00 for our return flight to Johannesburg. (Breakfast, Dinner on board flight) Day 17 : 2 January 2027 - JOHANNESBURG We arrive back in Johannesburg with a scheduled arrival time of 08:40.
