Three-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for North Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Fort Aguada and Anjuna Beach

    In the morning, head to Fort Aguada, a historic 17th-century fort with stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Marvel at the Baroque architecture and visit the tomb of St. Francis Xavier. In the evening, stroll through the charming streets of Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter, and enjoy some traditional Goan music and dance performances.

  3. Day 3: Visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and Calangute Beach
    30 minutes (11 miles) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Start the day off with a visit to the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, a mangrove forest home to a variety of bird species. Take a boat tour to get up close and personal with the birds and learn about the importance of preserving this unique ecosystem. In the afternoon, head to Calangute Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa. Enjoy a dip in the sea, build sandcastles, and try some water sports. End the day with a sunset dinner cruise along the Mandovi River, complete with live music, dance performances, and delicious seafood.
