Start your day at Colva Beach, one of the longest and most popular beaches in South Goa. Take a dip in the Arabian Sea or enjoy a walk on the white sand beach. You can also rent a motorcycle or scooter from one of the many rental shops along the beach.
Head south to Cabo de Rama Fort, a 16th-century Portuguese fort located on a cliff overlooking the Arabian Sea. The fort offers a panoramic view of the coastline and the sea. You can also explore the small chapel inside the fort premises.
Palolem Beach is a crescent-shaped beach surrounded by palm trees and hills. It's a great spot for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing. You can also enjoy a variety of water sports like kayaking, paddleboarding, and parasailing. Don't miss the famous Silent Noise Party held at Neptune Point every Saturday night.
Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including leopards, deer, and monkeys. You can take a guided tour of the sanctuary or explore the park on your own. Don't miss the Canopy Walk, which offers a bird's eye view of the sanctuary.
Visit the Cabo de Rama Lighthouse, located on the southernmost tip of Goa. The lighthouse offers a magnificent view of the Arabian Sea and is a great spot for sunset photography. Don't forget to bring your camera!
End your day at Martins Corner, a popular seafood restaurant in Betalbatim. The restaurant offers a wide range of Goan, Indian, and international dishes. Don't miss the fish curry and rice, a Goan specialty.
South Goa has a lot to offer, and one day is not enough to see everything. Consider adding the following attractions to your itinerary: Dudhsagar Waterfalls, Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, and the Basilica of Bom Jesus. If you have more time, you can also take a day trip to the nearby state of Karnataka and explore the historic city of Hampi.
