If you have more time, consider adding a visit to Kuala Terengganu in the eastern coast of Malaysia, which offers great beaches and a colorful city. If you have less time, we suggest skipping Tioman island or Langkawi which may require 2-3 days each to fully explore. Additionally, plan your trips around Malaysia’s main festivals such as Hari Raya or the Chinese New year, to get the full cultural experience.
