Vancouver 7-Day Itinerary in August 2024

  1. Day 1: Stanley Park
    10 minutes (3.5 km) from Downtown Vancouver

    Start your trip with a stroll through Stanley Park, an urban park with breathtaking views of the city, mountains, and water. In the morning, walk along the Seawall, and stop by the Totem Poles. Afternoon, visit the Vancouver Aquarium and watch the dolphin show. In the evening, enjoy a picnic and watch the sunset at Second or Third Beach.

  2. Day 2: Granville Island Public Market
    15 minutes (5 km) from Stanley Park

    Head to Granville Island's Public Market in the morning for breakfast and coffee while enjoying the views of the water, bridges and city skyline. Explore the shops, art galleries, and studios. Afternoon, stop by Shannon Falls, the third-highest waterfall in British Columbia. In the evening, enjoy dinner in Squamish, known for its outdoor adventures and craft breweries.

  7. Day 7: Queen Elizabeth Park and VanDusen Botanical Garden
    20 minutes (8 km) from Squamish

    In the morning, visit the Queen Elizabeth Park, a 130-acre park with stunning city views, a rose garden and a conservatory. Afternoon, head to VanDusen Botanical Garden and explore its 55 acres of plants, flowers, and trees. In the evening, dine at Seasons in the Park, which offers panoramic views of the city.
