Three-Day Foodie Itinerary in North Goa, June 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit the Mapusa Market

  2. Day 2: Explore Panaji's Latin Quarter
    20 minutes (7.5 miles) from Mapusa Market

    In the morning, visit the Fontainhas area of Panaji, also known as the Latin Quarter. Stroll along the picturesque streets lined with colourful Portuguese-style houses and enjoy a cup of coffee at a local café. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Goan restaurant for some authentic fish curry rice. In the evening, head to a local bar for some feni, a traditional Goan liquor made from cashews, and listen to some live music.

  3. Day 3: Visit the Anjuna Flea Market
    25 minutes (9.5 miles) from Panaji

    In the morning, visit the Anjuna Flea Market, known for its colourful stalls selling unique items such as clothes, jewellery, and handicrafts. Indulge in some street food, such as Goan fish thali and pork vindaloo. In the afternoon, head to the nearby beach for some water activities like surfing and jet skiing. In the evening, enjoy a sunset dinner at a beach shack with some fresh seafood and cocktails.

Don't miss out on visiting the Dudhsagar Falls, located about 2 hours (46 miles) from Panaji. You can also take a day trip to the nearby town of Old Goa, known for its beautiful churches and cathedrals.
