2-Day Adventure Itinerary for Rishikesh in June 2023

  1. Day 1: River Rafting on Ganges
20 minutes (6.5 km) from Rishikesh city centre

Morning: Start your day with an exciting river rafting experience on the Ganges. The river is safe for rafting in June with proper safety measures. Enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding hills and encounter a few rapids on the way.

Afternoon: After the thrilling rafting experience, head to Triveni Ghat for a relaxing dip in the holy waters of the Ganges. This ghat is known for its spiritual significance and the evening Aarti (prayer) ceremony.

Evening: End your day with a visit to The Beatles Ashram, also known as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram, where The Beatles stayed in 1968 and composed many of their songs. Take a walk amidst the beautiful graffiti art and watch the sunset from here.

  2. Day 2: Bungee Jumping and Giant Swing
40 minutes (14.5 km) from Rishikesh city centre

Morning: Drive to Mohan Chatti, the location for your bungee jumping experience. Experience the adrenaline rush as you jump off a 83-metre high platform towards the river Ganges. Safety is their top priority, and the staff is extremely professional.

Afternoon: After the bungee jump, head to the giant swing setup nearby. This is one of the few places in India where you can experience the giant swing. The experience is similar to bungee jumping, but instead of jumping off, you are seated in a chair-like swing which is released from the same platform.

Evening: End your day with a visit to Neer Garh Waterfall. The waterfalls are about 2 km trek from the parking area and offer a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. Take a dip in the natural pools and enjoy the fresh air.
