3-Day Itinerary for Kodaikanal in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Bryant Park
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    In the morning, visit Bryant Park, a botanical garden filled with a wide variety of plants and flowers. The park also has a glasshouse which displays many exotic species. In the afternoon, head to Coaker's Walk, a scenic promenade with stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. End the day with a visit to the Kodaikanal Lake in the evening, where you can enjoy a peaceful boat ride amidst the serene surroundings.

  2. Day 2: Pillar Rocks
    30 minutes (8 km) from Kodaikanal Lake

    Start the day with a visit to the Pillar Rocks, a set of three giant rock pillars that stand at a height of 400 feet. The view from the top is breathtaking, and you can spend hours just gazing at the scenery. In the afternoon, take a trip to the Bear Shola Falls, a beautiful waterfall that is surrounded by lush greenery. In the evening, visit the Kurinji Andavar Temple, a famous temple dedicated to Lord Muruga that is known for its beautiful architecture.

  3. Day 3: Guna Cave
    20 minutes (5 km) from Kurinji Andavar Temple

    On the final day of your trip, start with a visit to Guna Cave, a natural formation that is believed to have been formed over 250 million years ago. The cave is named after the movie Guna which was shot here. In the afternoon, visit the Green Valley Viewpoint, which offers a stunning view of the surrounding hills.
