Bachelor Party Itinerary for Rishikesh in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Arrive in Rishikesh

    Arrive at Jolly Grant Airport and make your way to Rishikesh. Check in at your hotel and take some time to relax. In the afternoon, head to The Beatles Ashram, located at the foothills of the Himalayas. The ashram served as a spiritual retreat for The Beatles during the late 60s. Explore the graffiti art and meditation chambers. In the evening, attend the Ganga aarti at Triveni Ghat, where Hindu priests perform prayers and light lamps.

  2. Day 2: White Water Rafting and Bungee Jumping
    30 minutes (11 miles) from The Beatles Ashram

    Start your day with an adrenaline-filled adventure. Go white water rafting in the Ganges river. The rapids range from grade 1 to 4, making it a thrilling experience for everyone. After lunch, head to Jumpin Heights for bungee jumping. The platform is 83 meters high, with a panoramic view of the Himalayas. In the evening, head to the Rishikesh Night Market for some local street food and souvenirs.

  3. Day 3: Yoga and Spa Day
    20 minutes (7 miles) from Jumpin Heights

    Start your day with a 2-hour yoga session at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, one of the oldest ashrams in Rishikesh. After lunch, head to Ananda in the Himalayas for a luxurious spa day. The spa offers a range of treatments, including Ayurveda, aromatherapy, and yoga therapy. In the evening, head to The Sitting Elephant for a rooftop dinner with a view of the Ganges river.

  4. Day 4: Trekking and Camping
    1 hour 30 minutes (32 miles) from Ananda in the Himalayas

    Start your day with a scenic drive to Kanatal, a small village in the Himalayas. Go for a 4-hour trek to Surkanda Devi temple. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Sati and offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas. After the trek, head to Kanatal Adventure Camp for camping and bonfire. The camp offers a range of activities, including rock climbing, rappelling, and zip-lining.

If you have extra time, visit Neer Garh Waterfall, located 6 miles from Rishikesh. The waterfall offers a refreshing swim and picturesque view. Another option is to take a day trip to Haridwar, located 19 miles from Rishikesh. Haridwar is one of the seven holiest places in Hinduism, with several temples and ghats. To maximize your fun, try out some local street food, such as chaat, samosas, and lassi. Make sure to also try out some authentic Ayurvedic treatments, such as Shirodhara and Abhyanga. Lastly, make sure to take advantage of the beautiful scenery and go for a morning or evening walk along the Ganges river.
