Dubai on a Shoestring Budget - 7-day Itinerary (July 2023)

1. Day 1: Dubai Mall
   20 minutes (10.7 km) from Dubai International Airport

   In the morning, visit Dubai Mall and see the world's largest mall's iconic attractions, including the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. In the afternoon, enjoy the mall's many shopping and dining options. End the day with the mesmerizing Dubai Fountain show in the evening.

2. Day 2: Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain
   10 minutes (2.7 km) from Dubai Mall

   Start the day by visiting At the Top, Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, and enjoy the stunning views of Dubai. Have lunch at the nearby Dubai Opera and enjoy the beautiful architecture. In the evening, head to Dubai Fountain to watch the stunning water and light show.

3. Day 3: Dubai Museum and Bastakiya Quarter
   25 minutes (7.5 km) from Burj Khalifa

   Visit the Dubai Museum in the morning, where you can learn about Dubai's history and culture. Afterward, explore the charming Bastakiya Quarter and admire the traditional Arabic architecture. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Dubai Creek and take an abra ride.

4. Day 4: Jumeirah Beach and Bur Dubai
   20 minutes (11.3 km) from Dubai Creek

   Spend the day on the beautiful Jumeirah Beach. You can swim, sunbathe, and relax. In the evening, head to the historic neighbourhood of Bur Dubai, where you can explore the markets, including the famous Dubai Gold Souk.

5. Day 5: Ibn Battuta Mall and Miracle Garden
   30 minutes (23.5 km) from Jumeirah Beach

   In the morning, visit Ibn Battuta Mall and admire the stunning architecture inspired by the travels of Ibn Battuta. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Miracle Garden, which features over 45 million flowers in stunning designs.

6. Day 6: Dubai Miracle Garden and Global Village
   10 minutes (5.5 km) from Miracle Garden

   Start the day by visiting the Miracle Garden again to explore the parts you missed the previous day. In the evening, head to Global Village, where you can explore pavilions representing different countries, enjoy cultural performances, and shop for souvenirs and unique products.

7. Day 7: Dubai Marina and Mall of the Emirates
   20 minutes (11.5 km) from Global Village

   In the morning, head to Dubai Marina and stroll along the promenade, admiring the stunning yachts and skyscrapers. In the afternoon, visit Mall of the Emirates and shop at the many stores. End the day by visiting Ski Dubai and enjoying indoor skiing and snowboarding.

Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis the Palm. You can also take a desert safari or visit the Dubai Miracle Garden during the day to enjoy the flowers and the beautiful weather. If you want to save money, consider using public transportation or walking instead of taking taxis. Also, consider visiting during Dubai's annual shopping festival in January for great deals and discounts.
