4-Day Itinerary for Kashmir in November 2023

  1. Day 1: Srinagar
    20 minutes (10 km) from Srinagar International Airport

    Start your day with a visit to the beautiful Mughal Gardens which are in full bloom in November. Spend your afternoon taking a shikara ride on Dal Lake and visit the famous floating market. End your day with a visit to the Hazratbal Shrine which houses a hair of the Prophet Mohammed.

  2. Day 2: Gulmarg
    2 hours 30 minutes (56 km) from Srinagar

    Visit Gulmarg, known as the "Meadow of Flowers," and spend your morning skiing or snowboarding in the Himalayas. In the afternoon, take a gondola ride to the peak of Apharwat Mountain for breathtaking views. End your day with a visit to the Maharani Temple.

  3. Day 3: Pahalgam
    3 hours 30 minutes (88 km) from Gulmarg

    Visit Pahalgam, known as the "Valley of Shepherds," and spend your morning horseback riding through the valley. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Betaab Valley and Aru Valley. End your day with a visit to the Mamal Temple, one of the oldest temples in Kashmir.

  4. Day 4: Sonamarg
    3 hours 20 minutes (87 km) from Pahalgam

    Visit Sonamarg, known as the "Meadow of Gold," and spend your morning trekking to the Thajiwas Glacier for stunning views of the Himalayas. In the afternoon, visit the Baltal Valley and take a pony ride to the base camp of Amarnath Yatra. End your day with a visit to the Nilagrad River, famous for its reddish water.
