Sikkim Winter Escape Itinerary - February 2024

  1. Day 1: Gangtok
    32 km (1 hour) from Pakyong Airport

    In the morning, visit the Rumtek Monastery, one of the most significant monasteries in Sikkim. After lunch, visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which showcases the culture and history of Tibet. In the evening, take a stroll around MG Marg, Gangtok's famous shopping street.

  2. Day 2: Tsomgo Lake
    38 km (2 hours) from Gangtok

    Head to the Tsomgo Lake in the morning, a stunning glacial lake that is frozen in February. Take a yak ride and enjoy the snow-covered mountains around the lake. In the afternoon, visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, a temple that was built in memory of a soldier who lost his life near the Nathula Pass.

  3. Day 3: Pelling
