One Day Itinerary in North Goa in June 2023

  1. 9:00AM: Fort Aguada
    20 minutes (8.5 miles) from Panaji

    Explore the historic Fort Aguada which was built in the 17th century to protect Goa from the Dutch and Marathas. The fort offers a spectacular view of the Arabian Sea and the Mandovi River. You can also visit the lighthouse and the nearby Aguada Jail which is now converted into a tourist attraction.

  2. 11:00AM: Baga Beach
    25 minutes (6.5 miles) from Fort Aguada

    Baga Beach is one of the most popular beaches in North Goa. Enjoy the sun, sand, and sea while sipping on a refreshing coconut water. You can also try local street food and shop for souvenirs. Water sports activities such as parasailing, banana boat ride, and jet skiing are also available at an additional cost.

  3. 1:00PM: Anjuna Flea Market
    15 minutes (4 miles) from Baga Beach

    The Anjuna Flea Market is a must-visit for shopaholics. You can find everything from clothes, jewelry, handicrafts, and souvenirs at reasonable prices. You can also try local street food and enjoy live music performances. The market is open every Wednesday and runs from morning till late evening.

  4. 3:00PM: Chapora Fort
    20 minutes (4.5 miles) from Anjuna Flea Market

    The Chapora Fort is famous for its appearance in the Bollywood movie "Dil Chahta Hai". The fort offers a panoramic view of the Vagator Beach and the Chapora River. The fort was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century and has a rich history. You can also visit the nearby Vagator Beach which is a popular spot for sunset viewing.

  5. 5:00PM: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    35 minutes (11 miles) from Chapora Fort

    The Basilica of Bom Jesus is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in Goa. The church holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier and is known for its Baroque architecture. You can also visit the nearby Se Cathedral and Museum of Christian Art.
