Two-Day Relaxation Itinerary in Taipei, June 2023

  1. Day 1: Beitou Hot Springs
    30 minutes (6.8 miles) from Taipei Main Station

    In the morning, start your day with a relaxing dip in one of the many hot springs in Beitou. Take a stroll through the Beitou Hot Spring Park and visit the Beitou Hot Spring Museum to learn about the history of hot springs in Taipei. Enjoy a traditional Taiwanese lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area. In the afternoon, explore the beautiful Yangmingshan National Park, which is known for its stunning scenery and hot spring areas. Take a leisurely walk along the trails and immerse yourself in nature. In the evening, head back to Beitou and spend some time at the Millennium Hot Spring, which is famous for its open-air hot springs and stunning views of Taipei.

  2. Day 2: Yehliu Geopark
    1 hour 20 minutes (22.7 miles) from Beitou Hot Springs

    In the morning, take a scenic bus ride to Yehliu Geopark, a nature park famous for its unique rock formations. Spend the morning exploring the park and taking in the fascinating natural wonders. Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant and then head to Jiufen Old Street, a charming historical street with traditional Taiwanese architecture and delicious local snacks. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at Shifen Waterfall and release a sky lantern into the sky for good luck.
