Recommendations

Yercaud is a beautiful hill station with many places to explore. If you have time, consider visiting the following places:

  • The Bear's Cave
  • Kottachedu Teak Forest
  • Karadiyur View Point
  • 32-km Loop Road Drive (for a scenic drive)

You can also plan a side trip to the nearby town of Salem to explore its historic sites and markets. To maximize your fun, I recommend wearing comfortable shoes, carrying water bottles, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Don't forget to try the local cuisine and shop for souvenirs. Enjoy your trip!
