Dates are flexible. This day-by-day plan is provisional until you choose exact travel dates.
Begin at Musée de l’Orangerie, arriving near opening if possible so you can enjoy Monet’s Water Lilies with fewer crowds. Allow about 1½ hours for the oval galleries and the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist collection. Timed entry is strongly recommended; check the museum’s official calendar because opening days and hours can vary, and budget roughly €12–€16 depending on the ticket combination. Afterwards, walk through Jardin des Tuileries for about 45 minutes, following the central paths toward the Seine and taking a seat by one of the green metal chairs if the weather is pleasant.
Continue to Café de Flore in Saint-Germain-des-Prés by Métro or on foot via the Seine—allow around 20–30 minutes by public transport, or longer for a relaxed walk. This is best treated as a classic Paris stop rather than a quick meal: allow an hour for lunch or coffee, with approximately €20–€45 per person. From there, take Métro Line 13 or a taxi toward Musée Rodin in the Invalides district. Spend 1½–2 hours between the elegant indoor galleries and the sculpture garden, where The Thinker and The Gates of Hell are highlights. Check the museum’s current opening days before setting out and reserve ahead if timed entry is being used; garden access may have separate seasonal arrangements.
Leave Musée Rodin with plenty of margin for Eiffel Tower security and ticket checks: allow roughly 30 minutes by Métro or taxi, plus at least 45–60 minutes for the security queue and entry process. Plan 2–3 hours overall for the tower, including the elevator, viewing levels, photographs, and possible waits between lifts. Sunset timing changes throughout the year, so choose the booked entry slot based on the actual date; summit or elevator access depends entirely on advance availability, and a monument ticket does not guarantee immediate access after arrival. Afterward, finish at Les Ombres in Chaillot for dinner and Eiffel Tower views, budgeting approximately €70–€120 per person. Reserve well ahead and allow about 20–30 minutes from the tower area by taxi or Métro, with a short walk through Trocadéro to the restaurant.
