Recommendations

Wayanad has a lot of other interesting places to visit, such as the Banasura Sagar Dam, Thirunelli Temple and Lakkidi View Point. You can also take a side trip to the nearby town of Sulthan Bathery, which has a number of historical sites. To maximize your fun, make sure you wear comfortable shoes and clothing, carry plenty of water, and keep your camera handy. Also, make sure to check the weather before you start your trip as it can be unpredictable in June.
